The end of the year offers a potent time for reflection. Work is suspended, traditions honored, and there’s a sense of anticipation as the current year comes to a close, and the new year rises.
This is an opportunity to look back on what worked, what didn’t, to examine what we want to carry into the future. So much change can happen in one year; it can feel like shedding a skin that no longer fits.
This is the time of year where everything can feel shiny and new.
It’s an invitation to look at who you are becoming.
Not the goals, not the to-do’s… but who each of these requires you to be.
So, a little journal prompt to sit with as the year turns:
Who do I want to be?
The person who knows what they want and goes after it.
The person who lives in connection, with themselves, their community.
The person who honors the seasons, of the year, and of their own lives.
What does that look like for you?
